Colombia is one of the newest additions to the list of countries to which Sharemoney, a service of Omnex Group Inc., can transfer funds for you. With a fee of starting at only $3.99, your loved ones in the country can receive cash using a competitive exchange rate from US Dollars to Colombian Peso. To help facilitate money transfers to your recipients, we have partnered with major banks in Colombia, Pagos Internationales included.

About Pagos Internationales

Pagos Internationales has grown its business to provide financial services in Colombia. It has various products to its name like savings accounts and term deposits. It also offers funding via insurance collections, remittances and financial treasury operations. As of 2014, there are already 28 agencies within which it operates. You can find agencies in Itagui, Manizales, Montenegro, Armenia, Bogota, Pereira, and Cali among others.

How to Do a Bank Transfer to Pagos Internationales with Sharemoney

First things first, you need a Pagos Internationales bank account where your recipient can receive the money you are sending. Additionally, you need another account to facilitate the transfer. That account is one that you will open with us. There is an online form that you need to fill up and with the information you keyed-in through that form, your account will need to be verified. It may take up to several hours to complete the process of verification but from there, you can start a transfer.

Once your account is verified, you can now proceed to sending money to your loved one’s bank account with Pagos Internationales in Colombia. After logging in, you will need to key-in the amount you are going to send then indicate how the transfer must be done. In this case, you should have the bank account number ready so it will be easier to facilitate the transfer.

Are There Other Charges When Using Sharemoney?

We are proud to say that we only charge you a standard fee of $3.99 for your transaction. However, you have to note that if you use your credit card to fund the transfer, an additional fee will be charged by your credit card issuer. This fee will appear on your next credit card bill. The reason for the additional charge is that the transfer from your credit card will be treated in the same manner as you do a cash advance via your card. To eliminate additional charges, you can use any of the following if you have any:

  1. Bank account. You can use your own bank account to fund the transfer to a Pagos Internationales account. Just like when you signed-up an account with us, your bank account has to be verified before the transaction can be facilitated. This can take three days more to process. We do this for security reasons.
  2. Debit card. If your loved one needs the money for emergency purposes, using a debit card will be the best option. This funding option will not only save you in terms of processing time but will also lessen the fees that you may encounter when opting to use a credit card.

As you can see, making bank transfers to Colombia Pagos Internationales is very easy. All you need to do is follow the steps above, and if you need help, you can check out our ‘How it Works‘ page.
